1. Program Title
2026 BK21 International Collaborative Research Program for Outstanding Graduate Students
2. Eligibility
Doctoral students, including those who have completed their doctoral coursework, who have participated in the BK21 Program for at least three months
※ Note: International students are also welcome to apply. However, all application materials must be completed and submitted in Korean.
3. Program Support
- Program duration: Two or three months
- Funding: Up to KRW 9.5 million per participant for a three-month program
- Eligible expenses: Research or training expenses and airfare for collaborative research or training at an overseas university or other institution
4. Application
- Application deadline: Sunday, August 30, 2026
- Required documents*: Application Form(신청서), Research and Training Plan(계획서), Letter of Recommendation (추천서; optional), and Consent Form for the Collection and Use of Personal Information (정보제공 동의서)

- Submission method: Submit all required documents by email to the BK21 Program at gsisbk21@korea.ac.kr.
5. Schedule
- Application review: September 1–11, 2026
- Notification of selection results: By September 18, 2026
- International collaborative research period: September 2026–February 2027
